This is our first post of our new blog and we're pretty excited. The reason we started the blog is to reach out to people. To reach out to kids, to youth, to parents, to adults. We want people to know what they are missing out on without Christ in their lives. We're not Bible thumping, push the word down your throat kind of people. We're laid back, we have fun, but we are on fire for Christ because we see how he's working in our lives and we want to give back and to share that excitement with everyone. Nobody should be missing out on such an amazing relationship!
The world can be a really bad place with bad things that happen to good people. There's no reason for it and no good explanation to offer. I don't personally think that it's "God's Will" for people to suffer. God doesn't want kids to be in pain, for families to go through divorce, for teens to be neglected and abused or to abuse themselves. Things happen, we make bad choices, people make bad choices that can adversely affect us. That's not God's will. He hurts with us when we hurt and he cries with us when we cry. And he isn't promising that our lives are going to be perfect. What he does promise us is that he will be there to hold our hands through every bad time, through every hurt, through every pain. That's what a personal relationship with Christ can offer- unconditional love regardless of what you've done or where you've been. You can have that personal relationship with him. Open your heart and let him in.
